Cloud Engineering

We design and run the infrastructure under your software on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, defined as code in accounts you own, with costs you can see.

Everything is defined as code in your repository, so any environment can be rebuilt and every change is reviewed.

  1. You have

    Your application

The services, databases and files your product runs on.

  2. Step 1

    Infrastructure as code

Networks, databases and services defined in Terraform or CDK.

  3. Step 2

    Staging and production

Matching environments built from the same code.

  4. Step 3

    Monitoring and cost

Alerts, backups and a monthly review of spend.

We work in cloud accounts you own. Nothing is hosted under a Techivies account.

Platforms

  • AWSContainers on ECS Fargate, managed databases on RDS, and Bedrock for AI features.
  • Google CloudCloud Run or GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub and BigQuery.
  • AzureApp Service or AKS, Azure SQL and Service Bus, with Entra ID for sign-in.
  • KubernetesEKS, GKE or AKS when the workload needs it, and simpler options when it does not.

Running it

  • MigrationsWorkloads moved one at a time, with the data move rehearsed and a way back.
  • Security and complianceEncryption, logging and least-privilege access, built to HIPAA, SOC 2 or PCI controls.
  • Backups and recoveryAutomated backups with restores that are tested, not assumed.
  • Cost controlEvery resource tagged, budgets with alerts, and sizes adjusted after real traffic.

AWS first, and Google Cloud or Azure where you already are.

Have a question that is not here? Send it with the form below and an engineer will reply within one business day.

Who owns the cloud account?

You do. We work inside accounts you own and pay for, with access you can remove at any time. Nothing is hosted under a Techivies account.

How do you control cost?

Every resource is tagged from day one, budgets have alerts, sizes are adjusted after the first month of real traffic, and longer-term commitments are made only once usage is steady.

What about backups and recovery?

Automated backups with tested restores, point-in-time recovery for databases, and a written recovery target for each system that we test.

Can you work within HIPAA, SOC 2 or PCI requirements?

Yes. We build to those controls: encryption, logging, least-privilege access, network separation and audit trails. The certification itself is yours to obtain; we provide the evidence your auditor asks for.

Do you provide 24/7 operations?

Yes, on a support agreement with agreed hours and response times. Otherwise we hand over dashboards, alerts and written instructions so your team can run it.

Terraform or CDK?

Terraform by default, because it works across all three clouds and most teams already know it. CDK where a team is all-AWS and prefers TypeScript.

A defined project

A defined integration or product, priced and scheduled up front, delivered with the test suite and infrastructure code you keep.

Engineers on your team

Engineers who join your team, your code and your daily meetings for as long as the roadmap needs them.

Ongoing support

We keep the integrations you run working: monitoring, vendor updates, new connections and month-end support.

Taking over existing systems

A system or integration nobody wants to touch: we review it, make it stable, then build on it.
